Alison Mezey Collections is offering an alternative, accessible way to become a fundraiser for the Obama Campaign.
We are providing affordable handmade beaded bracelets – one bracelet has the word OBAMA in white beaded letters on a black band and the other style has HOPE in white letters on a blue or red band.
An individual Fundraiser or an organization can buy bracelets in groups of 10 that can be sold for a maximum of $150. Each group of 10 - with one additional free bracelet per group - requires an investment of $50 that can be entirely recouped once the bracelets have been sold by the Fundraiser.
By purchasing a group of 10 bracelets and selling them to your friends, you can effectively raise funds for Obama. Simply wearing one can be all the marketing one needs to become a successful Fundraiser. These bracelets practically sell themselves.
Fashionable and philanthropic, Fundraisers can tell Obama Supporters that their purchase will have many benefits. In addition to helping elect our next president with donations made from 100% your sales profits, 60% of your original $50 supports The Emancipation Network and its ongoing efforts to end sexual slavery worldwide. These bracelets are made by survivors and people at very high risk for being trafficked. Each sale helps to free and sustain one more woman or child.
The Fundraiser agrees to donate 100% of profits to the Obama Campaign within 30 days of receiving the bracelets. As the purpose is to raise as much money as possible for Obama, the suggested sales price is $15/bracelet; $25/pair. However, if the Fundraiser feels it would be more effective to sell the bracelets at a lower price, they may do so at their discretion. For a group of 10 bracelets, the cost distribution is:

This model relies upon the honor system for Fundraisers to donate all of the profits of their sales – all funds received above the original $50 deposit. We assume that people are buying our Bracelets for Obama because they want to show their pride and support in a fashionable way and have a fun opportunity to contribute to good in the world .
